The Igbo Cultural Association in Sevilla, Spain (ICAS) is a non-governmental organization founded to preserve, celebrate, and promote the rich cultural heritage of the Igbo people of Nigeria among Igbo diaspora members and within the larger Spanish community. Through events, educational programs, and community support services, ICAS aims to foster a sense of belonging, provide a cultural education platform, and support the social integration of Igbo and other African immigrants in Spain.
Our organization recently reached a major milestone by acquiring a community hall in Seville, a project made possible by the dedication and contributions of our registered members. This hall has become a cultural hub for the Igbo and broader African diaspora communities, providing a physical space where members can meet, share traditions, and hold events that enrich both our community and local Spanish culture.
